Start with useful project information
You do not need permit drawings before contacting us. Tell us what is not working in the current home, the kind of space you want to add, the approximate size if known, your planning status, desired timing and the investment range you are considering.
What helps us understand the project quickly
The more clearly the initial form describes the project, the easier it is to understand whether the scope is aligned with the kind of substantial addition work this site is built around.
Helpful details include:
- the Brampton property or postal code;
- detached, semi-detached, townhome or other home type;
- rear addition, second storey, kitchen extension, primary suite, multi-generational addition or another major expansion;
- approximate new square footage, if known;
- the rooms/functions you want to create;
- whether drawings or a survey already exist;
- desired timeline; and
- realistic project investment range.
Photos of the exterior and the rooms affected by the addition are also useful. If you already have sketches, architectural drawings or a survey, the detailed form can be configured in WPForms to accept uploads.
What happens after you submit
Your project details provide the starting point for evaluating the scope. The next conversation should focus on the actual house and what the addition needs to accomplish—not a generic per-square-foot quote.
If the project is still early, that is fine. “No plans yet” is a valid planning status. If you already have preliminary or permit drawings, note that in the form so the discussion can begin at the right stage.
Not sure which addition type to choose?
Use these quick distinctions:
- Rear Home Addition: build into the backyard to enlarge the main floor.
- Second-Storey Addition: build upward to create substantial bedrooms, bathrooms or private space.
- Kitchen Extension: add square footage specifically because the desired kitchen/main-floor layout cannot fit within the current footprint.
- Primary Suite Addition: create new area for a complete bedroom, ensuite and dressing zone.
- Multi-Generational Addition: add space for more family members with a deliberate balance of shared and private areas.
If you are genuinely unsure, choose Not Sure Yet in your WPForms project-type field and describe the space problem in your own words.
Project consultation form
Form setup note for the site owner: Build the detailed form in WPForms and paste its shortcode under Appearance → Home Additions Setup → Consultation Form Shortcode. The theme will render it here and in other consultation sections automatically.
